ANN ARBOR (WWJ) – A man is in custody after allegedly robbing a Chase bank in downtown Ann Arbor Thursday morning.

The 49-year-old suspect walked into the bank at 100 S. Main Street shortly before 11 a.m. and slipped a note to the teller demanding money, Ann Arbor police officials told WWJ.

The suspect was given an undisclosed amount of cash and he ran from the scene. Authorities say the teller never saw a gun and no one was injured during the robbery.

Officers arrested the man a short time after the robbery, officials said.

Authorities have not released the man’s name or hometown, pending charges.
