A man was treating I-94 like a runway for an out-of-control flight, as police described him driving at 117 mph on I-94 in Harrison Township.
Today, the 21-year old driver is facing reckless driving and weapons charges after he was clocked going 117 miles per hour early this morning in a Chrysler 300. Police said the driver was also spotted swerving in and out of traffic.
He was stopped when his high rate of speed and "using lanes improperly" drew attention, and troopers said they found a pistol in the car. The driver didn't have a concealed pistol license.
He is locked up now awaiting charges.
