(WWJ) The message: Slow it down, folks.
Michigan State Police have been out and about busting speeders on the roads and freeways, including one who ventured way over the limit.
Issuing yet another warning for drivers to watch their speeds, State Police on Thursday shared a snapshot of traffic stop last week, after a trooper clocked a driver going 124 mph in a 55 mph zone on Hagadorn Rd. in Ingham County. That's near Michigan State University.

"MSP wants to remind everyone to drive the posted speed limits and #BuckleUp," the MSP Metro North Post tweeted.
Police said troopers were working traffic enforcement and concentrating on reckless driving, careless driving, speeds and seatbelts today on the freeways in Livingston, Ingham and Clinton Counties.
MSP shared a series of photos showing various types of vehicles pulled over by troopers, including a semi truck and an SUV with bikes on the back.
State Police note a marked increase in speeding during the COVID-19 pandemic, and stress that even though traffic may be somewhat lighter these days, troopers are out policing the roads and freeways as usual.
Some statistics to chew on: The National Safety Council says traffic-related deaths are on a startling uptick in recent months. The death rate per-mile increased 23% in May, the nonprofit group reports, after previous increases in April and March.
According the National Traffic Safety Administration, speeding has been involved in approximately one-third of all motor vehicle fatalities for more than two decades.
