PONTIAC (WWJ) - A Pontiac man has been arraigned for a fatal shooting Tuesday night.

The shooting took place at the Night Riders Motorcycle Club. Police say 55-year-old Malcom Boykin shot 42-year-old Charlie Odneal, also from Pontiac, following an argument. Odneal was taken to the hospital. He died Wednesday morning.

Boykin was arrested on Wednesday and taken to the Oakland County Jail. He was ordered to be held without bond during his arraignment on Saturday, according to a press release from the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office.

Boykin has been charged with second-degree murder, assault with intent to murder, felon in possession of a firearm, carrying a concealed weapon and “multiple counts of using a firearm in the commission of a felony,” the press release said.

Boykin’s probable cause conference is scheduled for March 19.
