HARRISON TOWNSHIP (WWJ) - A Sterling Heights man is behind bars Friday morning after he was charged with no less than six felonies for allegedly trying to meet up with an underage teen for sex this week.

According to the Macomb County Sheriff's Office, Sinan Kalemaj, 24, out of Sterling Heights, was arrested on Monday, March 27 after deputies responded to a "disturbance" in a parking lot near Crocker and 16 Mile Road in Harrison Township.

Deputies determined only words were exchanged and there was no physical assault, but a further investigation conducted by the Macomb Area Computer Enforcement (MACE) found evidence that Kalemaj was allegedly attempting to lure a 13-year-old girl for sex.

Investigators said the activity did not take place and the 24-year-old man was taken into custody.

Kalemaj was arraigned on Wednesday, March 29 in 41-B District Court in Clinton Township on three counts of child sexually abusive activity, a 20-year felony, and three counts of using a computer to commit a crime, also a 20-year felony.

Kalemaj's bond was set at $20,000 and a magistrate ordered him to not use any computer.

The 24-year-old is due to appear back in court on April 11.
