
PONTIAC (WWJ) -- A man is in police custody in connection with a deadly shooting in Pontiac Monday morning.
WWJ's Charlie Langton reports that police were called to an apartment complex on Cherry Hill Drive near Telegraph and Kennett just after 6 a.m. on reports that a person had been shot.
The victim, a 45-year-old man, was found in a parking lot along Cherry Hill when officers arrived. Investigators said 26 shells were found at the scene.
The suspect was arrested less than three hours later.
Authorities have not released the name or age of the suspect. Officials say the suspect isn't talking with detectives and no motive is known at this time.
He's expected to appear before a judge tomorrow.
