(WWJ) Workers made a tragic discovery at a Belle Tire parking lot in Troy.
Troy Police say workers found a man dead and covered in snow next to the building on Rochester Rd at Long Lake. They are not sure how long he was out there when they found him around 7:30 Monday morning.
The Oakland County Medical Examiner arrived on the scene and took the body for an autopsy. They found a single stab wound on him and ruled his death a homicide.
He is believed to have been in his late 30's.
Police recovered a knife in the parking lot of the Belle Tire. They identified a possible suspect, and took that person into custody.
Officers have not revealed the victim's identity, pending notification of his family.
