TAYLOR (WWJ) -- A woman is in police custody after a man was found stabbed to death outside a Downriver dance studio Monday night.
Taylor Police said the stabbing happened sometime before 10 p.m., when officers were called to the parking lot of Janet's School of Dance along Ecorse Road, just west of Pelham, in Taylor.
The man, who had suffered a stab wound, was taken to Beaumont Hospital in Dearborn where he was pronounced dead, police said.
Investigators then learned that there was fight at a nearby home, along Merrick Street, involving the man and a woman.
The woman was arrested and treated for non-life threatening injuries.
Police did not disclose the relationship between the suspect and the victim, and other circumstances surrounding this incident are unclear as the investigation continues.
No names were immediately released.
