SOUTHGATE (WWJ) -- A fast food restaurant in Southgate has become the target of a serial crank caller.
Police are investigating after an employee at the McDonald's on North Line Road near Frontage Road issued a complaint.
The worker reported ongoing harassment, saying man has been relentlessly calling the location about 50 times a day for the past three months.
She says the calls typically consist of the unknown caller making disparaging comments about the restaurant. Though he has been asked not to contact them again, the calls continue.
Police have been given the number that comes up on caller ID when the man calls, and they are currently looking into the situation.
