CHESTERFIELD TOWNSHIP (WWJ) -- A jet ski crash in Macomb County has left a man hospitalized.
The county sheriff’s office says two men collided on Sunday evening on Lake St. Clair in Chesterfield Township.
One man was taken to the hospital, but his injuries are reportedly not life-threatening. The other man involved in the accident was not hurt.
WWJ has been told that conditions on the lake were normal on Sunday.
The Macomb County Sheriff’s office is investigating the circumstances the caused the crash.
Officials are reminding residents to take safety precautions when out on the water, including wearing a life jacket and understanding how to operate a watercraft.
