
DEARBORN (WWJ) A man is recovering from a shooting at a Dearborn nightclub.
Police said the gunfire broke out at Silver Criket nightclub on Michigan Avenue (25,000 block) near S. Gulley Rd. around 2 a.m. Saturday. Upon arrival, Dearborn Police found the victim, 42, with a gunshot wound.
He was rushed to Oakwood Beaumont Hospital. His injuries are not life threatening and he is expected to survive, police said.
Three people were arrested in connection to the shooting. No information has been released about the circumstances leading to the gunfire. It also remains unclear if the suspects, whose names have not yet been revealed, know the victim.
Dearborn Police said “there is no ongoing threat to the public.”
“Due to the quick actions of our officers, all parties were apprehended quickly,” Police Chief Ron Haddad said in a press release. “Our investigators are seeking charges on all involved and will be forwarding a request to the Wayne County Prosecutor’s Office”.
