DETROIT (WWJ) – The search is on for a suspect who kidnapped Snoop Dogg in Detroit.
Well, not exactly. Detroit police officials say someone stole a three-foot tall Snoop Dogg bobblehead from a liquor store on the city’s west side earlier this month and they're asking for help in finding the culprit.
It happened around 7:30 p.m. on Dec. 6 when a suspect walked into the store in the 19000 block of Warren – near the Southfield Freeway – and stole the giant collector’s item.
The bobblehead at Tradewinds Liquor Store was originally used for a Corona beer promo and valued between $500 and $1,500, according to a report from WDIV.
Detroit police released photos of the suspect and officials are asking anyone who recognizes him or knows something about the theft to call the Detroit Police Department’s 6th Precinct Detective Unit at 313-596-5649.
