(WWJ) A West Bloomfield man is fighting for his life after being hit with a pickup truck Tuesday night.
The Oakland County Sheriff's Office said the man, 59, was walking across Haggerty at Crumb in Commerce Township when a woman, 44, struck him with her Dodge Ram pickup.
Investigators believe the man was wearing dark clothing and lighting was low when the crash occurred around 7 p.m. He was also walking outside the crosswalk, according to the Sheriff's Office.
He is in critical condition.
The driver was not hurt. Alcohol is not believed to be a factor in the crash, but it remains under investigation.
