A man is wanted for a string of armed robberies -- at the same place -- in Detroit.
The Detroit Police Department is seeking the public's assistance in identifying and locating a suspect wanted in connection to two armed robberies that occurred on the city's west side.
In the first incident on Wednesday, March 03, 2021, at approximately 8:30 a.m. the suspect approached the counter at the dollar store located in the 9300 block of Greenfield and placed some items down. The suspect then produced a weapon and demanded money.
In the second on Thursday, March 04, 2021 at approximately 8:48 a.m. it is believed that the same suspect walked into the same location, produced a weapon and demanded money from the location. Both times the suspect fled on on foot with an undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency. No injuries were reported.
The suspect is described as a Black man with a medium complexion, in his 30's or 40's, 5'6", with a stocky build.
