A Lincoln Park woman driving with her two children was killed in a late night crash in Detroit.

Michigan State Police say the 29-year woman was in a Saturn car that was rear-ended last night by an SUV on the ramp from the Davison Freeway to I-96.

The woman's two boys, aged six and seven were not seriously hurt.

The driver ran away, but then showed up at a hospital. Michigan State Police say the man has five current license suspensions and was wanted on two local warrants.

He was also convicted twice for driving with a suspended license. He's in jail now. Police say troopers are seeking a search warrant for blood. Next of kin have been notified and the children are with family members. An investigation is continuing and the report will be forwarded to the prosecutor for review.
