Orchard Park, NY (WBEN) A couple of days after players cleaned out their lockers, Bills coach Sean McDermott and GM Brandon Beane spoke with reporters to wrap a season that ended with Saturday's wild card loss.
As for quarterback Josh Allen, McDermott says Allen has made a tremendous amount of progress. "There are certainly things he can do better and I can do better. He'll put the work in and he will be better next season," says McDermott.
Beane says he's looking in the mirror to improve the roster. "I didn't do a great job in 2018. Part of that was where we were in the salary cap. But there were things we could have done better for upfront protection. We didn't expect Josh Allen to play as quick as he did, but that was the best move at the time last year. It paid off, but it was painful early on," says Beane.
