We'll give it to you straight: Brace for a freezing cold weekend in metro Detroit.
With the wind chill, temperatures will be in the single digits during the day on Friday and near zero at night. And then snow is expected to fall. See the full forecast HERE.
The snow is expected to start falling early Saturday and continue into late Sunday evening. Up to two inches of accumulation is expected by the time it's over.
Highs on Saturday and Sunday are 22 and 23 degrees respectively. Monday's high is a frigid 14 degrees and Tuesday brings a high of 18. Real feel temperatures will be lower.
And after the weekend, even more will follow. Tuesday is expected to usher in a storm that could bring another three inches of the white stuff. Some models say 8 inches could fall, but it's too early to know for sure.
This comes as a major ice storm blows in a line through the country, killing five people in Texas with a squall that sent semis flying all over the freeway.
