(AAA/WWJ) -- Michigan drivers are seeing no relief at the pump.
Drivers statewide are paying an average of $3.20 per gallon -- that's 9 cents more than a week ago.
A full tank of gas costs about $9 more from when prices were their highest last January.
AAA says crude oil prices will likely continue climbing through the end of summer, sending pump prices higher.
"Gas prices rose last week as more than 1.4 million Michigan residents were expected to hit the road for the Independence Day holiday," said AAA spokesperson, Adrienne Woodland. "After the sharp spike, motorists will likely see prices stabilize through this week."
The most expensive gas is in metro Detroit, Ann Arbor and Jackson, while the least expensive is in Traverse City, Benton Harbor and Marquette.
