Middle school student killed in crash involving bus, Wayne police asking witnesses to come forward with details

WAYNE (WWJ) – A middle school student has died after a crash involving a school bus on Tuesday afternoon in the city of Wayne.

Authorities have not released many details about the incident, but say a Franklin Middle School student was killed in the area of Howe and Annapolis.

It was not clear what caused the crash or whether the student was on the bus at the time.

No other injuries were reported.

Wayne police officials are asking anyone who witnessed the incident to call Lt. Amore at 734-721-1414 x1527.
