ANN ARBOR (WWJ) — A Milan man is dead following a motorcycle crash in Ann Arbor Friday afternoon.
The crash happened around 2:45 p.m. when the 46-year-old motorcyclist was headed south on Stadium and collided with an SUV as it was turning left onto Winewood.
The Milan man suffered severe injuries after the collision. He was pronounced dead at the scene. A 60-year-old man driving the SUV was not injured.
Ann Arbor police officials said it appears excessive speed contributed to the crash.
Ann Arbor Fire Department and Huron Valley Ambulance personnel assisted Ann Arbor police at the scene.
