DEARBORN (WWJ) -- Two women are dead and a third is hospitalized following a crash in Dearborn.
WWJ's Charlie Langton reports that the driver was speeding on Schaefer near Michigan Avenue around 1:00 a.m. on Thursday when they crossed the center lane and crashed their minivan into a building.
Police Chief Ronald Haddad says speeding has been a problem in the city for awhile.
"Clearly the car was going at an extremely high rate of speed," Chief Haddad told WWJ. "That's been what our accident investigation bureau has determined lately, that people are just speeding through our streets."
Police will investigate to determine if there were any other factors leading to the crash.
