DETROIT (WWJ) -- There is good news to report about a pair of 13-year-old girls who disappeared last Friday night in Detroit.
The teens, Shaniya Gully and Destiny Taylor-Williams, left a house on Ferguson Street — near McNichols and the Southfield Freeway — around 9 p.m. on Nov. 3 without permission and did not return, police said.
Police released photos of the girls over the weekend, asking for tips from the public to help track them down.
In an update provided Monday morning, the Detroit Police Department said both Shaniya and Destiny "have been recovered and are doing fine."
Police have not release any information about the circumstances surrounding their disappearance, and they did not say where the girls were eventually found.
