DETROIT (WWJ) -- The Detroit Police Department is asking for tips from the public in the case of a missing child on the city's west side.
Natalia Pointzes, age 13, left her home in the 12000 block of Virgil in Detroit without permission on Tuesday, Oct. 11, and did not return.
She was last seen at around 2:30 p.m., wearing a red hooded sweatshirt, with black lettering, blue jeans and black combat boots.
Pointzes is described as a Black female, 5'4'' tall and weighing around 170 lbs., with curly dark brown hair and brown eyes.
According to her mother, Pointzes suffers lives with depression and diabetes.
Anyone who may have seen this missing child, or who has any information about her whereabouts is asked to call the DPD's 6th Precinct at 313-596-5601. To remain 100% anonymous, tipsters can call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-SPEAK-UP (1-800-773-2587).
