DETROIT (WWJ) - Police are turning to the pubic for help in locating a missing man living with two mental health conditions after he left his Detroit home four days ago -- and hasn't been seen or heard from since.

The Detroit Police Department said Michael Doss II, 25 of Detroit, was last seen February 20, 2024 after leaving his home in the 2400 block of Liddesdale during the evening hours.

Doss never returned home and his family members haven't been able to reach him in the days since.

According to his mother, Doss is diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder and Schizophrenia -- it is unclear if his conditions are managed with medications and if he left home with or without them.

Police describe Doss as a Black male standing 5' 6" tall and weighing roughly 150 lbs. He has black hair, brown eyes and has an identifying tattoo on his upper left chest that reads "Capre."

He was last seen wearing a Chicago Bulls jacket, police added.
