DUNDEE TWP (WWJ) -- The Monroe County Sheriff's Office is asking the public for help identifying a man involved in multiple crimes in the western part of the county.
Over the last month, several snowmobiles and enclosed trailers were stolen from a storage facility in Dundee Township.
On Sunday morning, deputies pulled over a Dodge Ram 2500 pick-up truck near M-50 and US-23.
The driver spoke to the officers, then fled the traffic stop in the truck. He drove southbound on Petersburg Road, near Brewer Road in Dundee Twp.

Deputies said that the man gave them a false I.D. and had an invalid Michigan Dealer plate. That plate number is 03D455.
Sheriff Troy Goodnough asks that the public be on the lookout for the charcoal gray Dodge Ram 2500, quad cab, pick-up with chrome rims, diesel engine, a hard bed cover and a dark-colored plastic cover over the rear license plate.
Officers described the man as middle-aged with dark hair and a full beard. At the time of the traffic stop, he was wearing a dark-colored baseball cap and a dark t-shirt.
Anyone who sees or recognizes the suspect or vehicle should contact Monroe County Central Dispatch at 734-243-7070 or the Monroe County Sheriff's Office Detective Bureau at 734-240-7430.
