DETROIT (WWJ) -- A search is underway for the driver who hit and killed a mother of two in Detroit.
The crash happened just before 5 p.m on Monday in the area of Dragoon and McMillan streets in southwest Detroit, reports FOX 2 Detroit.
A business near the scene caught the tragedy on video.
The footage shows the woman standing in the median and waiting for traffic to clear before she crosses the street. That's when a red pick-up truck hit her, said FOX 2.
Investigators said the driver of the vehicle continued without stopping.
The victim has been identified by family members as a mother of two young boys.
No arrests have been made.
