MSP trooper injured in crash with car hauler in Ann Arbor, taken to hospital

ANN ARBOR (WWJ) A Michigan State Police trooper was involved in a crash with car hauler in Ann Arbor, authorities said.

Michigan State Police (MSP) said the crash happened on Wednesday, October 1, around 8:15 a.m. at Jackson and Wagner while the Brighton Post trooper was responding to an emergency with lights and sirens activated.

The trooper was driving east on Jackson Road when a car hauler, traveling west on Wagner, entered the intersection.

The patrol vehicle "collided with the trailer of the hauler, MSP said.

The trooper was taken to the hospital with minor injuries. No other injuries were reported.

MSP said the incident remains under investigation.
