NASA has one thing on their agenda as they ready a return to the moon: Colonization. And MSU is playing a key role

(WWJ) – It's been five decades since humans set foot on the moon, but NASA is gearing up to make that a reality again in the not-so-distant future.

With next week's scheduled Artemis I mission paving the way for astronauts making an eventual lunar return, there are lots of questions about what some experts call the "foregone conclusion" of colonizing the moon.


One of those big questions – how will humans feed themselves on the moon? As WWJ's Zach Clark learns in a new episode of the Daily J podcast, researchers at Michigan State University are sending genetically engineered plants to space to try and find an answer.
