
INKSTER (WWJ) - Police are collecting evidence in a homicide case after a body was found in a Wayne County field on Wednesday morning.
Michigan State Police said the body was discovered around 8:20 a.m. on July 26 in an area along Princeton Street in the City of Inkster.
Detectives from the MSP Inkster Secure City Partnership responded to the scene and are searching the surrounding area.
MSP Metro Lab later joined troopers at the scene where they are working to determine how the body ended up in the field.
At this time, information about the victim remains unknown.
