New photo released as police seek tips to ID two suspects in 2023 Detroit parking lot murder

DETROIT (WWJ) -- Do you know this man?

Detroit Police have released an additional photo (above) as investigators continue their search for two suspects wanted for a deadly shooting on the city's west side.

The homicide happened at around 2:15 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 2023, in the area of Griggs and W. McNichols near the Lodge Freeway, police said.

According to investigators, after a confrontation in a nearby parking lot, the suspects fatally shot 26-year-old Joseph Mckinley.

The shooters then fled the scene in two separate vehicles.

Police are asking anyone who recognizes the suspects, or their vehicles, or who has any information about this crime to call the Detroit’s Homicide Unit at 313-596-2260, or the Crime Stoppers anonymous tip line at 1-800-Speak-Up (800-773-2587).
