DETROIT (WWJ) -- Detroit Police are investigating a fatal shooting on the city's northwest side, where a car crashed outside a bank.
Police said that just after 3 a.m., in the area of Fenkell and Wyoming, they were alerted by Shot Spotter technology.

And when they arrived, they found a Chevy Malibu that had crashed into a pole in the parking lot of a PNC bank branch.
The car was riddled with bullet holes and the victim, who was was sitting in the passenger seat, had been shot, police said.
He was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead, police said.There are no known suspects as this time, as police continue to investigate what led to the shooting and crash.
No further information about the victim was released.
