MOUNT CLEMENS (WWJ) -- A Macomb County business owner has been ordered to stand trial in connection with the deadly warehouse explosion in Clinton Township.

Noor Kestou, 33, was bound over Thursday morning on a charge of involuntary manslaughter in connection with the explosion in March 2024.

A fire started at the former Goo Smoke Shop/Select Distributors, in the area of at 15 Mile Rd. and Groesbeck, which caused an explosion that sent nitrous oxide cans flying through the air.

Turner Salter, a 19-year-old Clinton Township man about 1/4 mile away from the scene, was hit in the head by one of those cans, and died.
