A pedestrian was hit by a vehicle and killed while walking across Gratiot Avenue near M-59 early Wednesday morning, according to Clinton Township police.
The crash happened around 6 a.m. The driver involved stopped at the scene and is cooperating with police.
Police were using drones as part of their investigation, according to WWJ's Luke Sloan.
Both northbound and southbound lanes of Gratiot were closed so police could conduct their investigation.
