**UPDATE: Florida woman suspected of breaking into cars killed in hit-and-run crash on M-59, Oakland County Sheriff says**

ROCHESTER HILLS (WWJ) - Police in Rochester Hills are searching for a driver who allegedly took off after hitting and killing a pedestrian early Friday morning, officials said.
The Oakland County Sheriff's Office confirmed the fatal crash which happened on eastbound M-59, possibly near Livernois, during the morning hours on March 15.
Authorities shutdown the highway at Crooks and are actively investigating the scene. The exact location of the crash was not released.
Officials said the driver of the vehicle that struck the pedestrian did not stop at the scene. Investigators are working on identifying the vehicle involved.
