Canton Police looking for suspect who tried to abduct 12-year-old boy at bus stop

CANTON (WWJ) -- Police are currently looking for suspect who attempted to abduct a 12-year-old boy at a bus stop on Jan. 19 in Canton.

According to the initial report by the Canton Police Department, at about 7:20 a.m., on Wednesday, the boy was at his bus stop in the 51074 block of Mott Road by College Park Mobile Homes when a male suspect physically attempted to grab him.

The boy was able to fight him off and flee the area, said officials.

The white male suspect is described as approximately 30 years old, 6 feet, thin build and clean shaven with short blond, spiked hair. He was wearing a black hoodie and gray pants.

The suspect was also driving a white 4-door sedan, possibly a Ford Taurus.
