(WWJ) Detroit Police are asking for tips to identify a gunman who opened fire on a group of about a dozen people outside a club on the city's east side.
Police said three people were wounded in the shooting at around 1 a.m. Friday, Sept. 24, in the area of 17100 Conant Street, near E. McNichols.
According to investigators, shortly before the shooting, the suspect and at least one of the victims got into a dispute while inside Mandee’s Jazz Café.
The suspect and the victims went outside, where — as seen in video footage from a Project Greenlight camera nearby — the suspect drew a handgun and fired several shots.

After the shooting, police said the suspect and a companion fled together from the scene in an unknown direction.
All of the victims were taken to a local hospital where they were listed in stable condition.
Later Friday, police were still looking for the shooter. He was described as male around 5'10'' tall and between 240-260 lbs, wearing a white shirt and blue jeans.
Anyone who can ID the shooter, or who has any information about this crime should call the Detroit Police Department’s Eleventh Precinct at 313-596-1140 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-Speak Up. As always, those who call Crime Stoppers will remain anonymous, and will not be required to speak to police.
