Police asking for public's help to find missing Southfield man they say suffers from mental illness

SOUTHFIELD (WWJ) - Police are looking for a missing man they say suffers from mental illness.

The Southfield Police Department said 37-year-old Jacob Williams is "voluntarily missing."
Williams was last seen in Southfield at 8:45 p.m.on Dec. 10.
Williams is 5 feet, 9 inches tall and was last seen wearing a black coat, dark colored shirt, blue jeans and black shoes.
Police said Williams suffers from both schizophrenia and bipolar disorder and has not taken his medication.
