STERLING HEIGHTS (WWJ) - A man has been hospitalized after suffering a medical emergency which caused him to drive into a house, officials say.
Sterling Heights Police Department and Sterling Heights Fire Department were called for a single vehicle crash around 12:30 p.m. on Nov. 10. Reports say a 52-year-old man was driving his van on Erdmann Road slowly when he went off the road and crashed.
The driver was treated on the scene for a medical emergency before being transported to a local hospital where he was listed in stable condition, officials say.
Police said alcohol and drugs do not appear to be a factor.
An investigation is still ongoing.
