The juvenile is facing one count of first-degree murder, one count of assault with intent to murder, one count of carrying with unlawful intent, one count of carrying a concealed weapon and three counts of felony firearm.

Williams, 26, was shot shortly before 9 p.m. on Sept. 8 in the 8080 block of Grandville Street -- just north of Tireman Avenue and west of the Southfield Freeway -- according to the prosecutor’s office.

Authorities say the teen opened fire on Williams’s car. Williams was able to drive away from the scene to a nearby gas station in the 17960 block of Joy Road, just east of the Southfield.

A few minutes later, Detroit police received a 911 call reporting a vehicle was blocking the entrance to the gas station.

When officers showed up, they found WIlliams inside the vehicle, bleeding and unresponsive. Medics arrived to the scene and pronounced Williams dead.

Authorities have not released any details about what led to the shooting or what made it a 1st-degree murder case.

The teen was arraigned last Friday in 36th District Court and is due back in court on Nov. 3.
