(WWJ) Does anyone recognize this wanted man?
Authorities in the Flint area are hoping the public can help them to identify a suspect in a bank robbery.
At 1:10 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 20, police say the man robbed a Chase Bank branch in the 1200 block of Belsay Rd. in Burton, which is east of Flint and north of Grand Blanc in Genesee County.
The suspect — seen in surveillance photos released on Tuesday — is a described as white male, wearing a white facemask, dark-rimmed glasses, a red baseball-style hat and a dark-colored long-sleeved Detroit Lions shirt.
After the robbery, police said it's believed that the robber got into the passenger side of a white sedan.
No injuries were reported.
As the investigation continues, Crime Stoppers of Flint & Genesee County is offering a $1,000 cash reward for the tip that leads to an arrest.
Anyone with information is asked to call the anonymous tip line at 1-800-422-JAIL (5245). Tips can also be submitted anonymously online at CrimeStoppersofFlint.com.
The public is reminded not to try to apprehend criminals.
