DETROIT (WWJ) -- Detroit Police are searching for a pair of suspects in a violent attack on the city's east side.
Shortly after 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 2, police said two unknown men armed with baseball bats approached a 44-year-old man in the parking lot of a party store, in the 14200 block of E. Jefferson Ave.
The two suspects beat the victim with the bats, police said, before fleeing the scene together in a white Chevy pickup truck.
The victim was treated at a local hospital for his injuries. There is no update on this condition at this time.
Suspect number one is described as a male in his late 20s to early 30s, wearing all black clothing.
Suspect number two was described as a male in his late 20s to early 30s, wearing a blue jacket and blue jeans.
Both suspects and their vehicle were seen in surveillance images shared by police on Thursday.
