(WWJ) Police are asking for tips in the case of a missing man with dementia.
Gregory Samuel, 62, was reported missing on Tuesday, December 15, at around 11:40 p.m. from the area of Michigan and Evergreen in Detroit.
Police said Samuel was later seen on on video footage near Lakeside Mall in Sterling Heights, just after 6 a.m. the following day.
Samuel is described as 5'6" tall and around 135 lbs., with medium brown complexion, brown eyes, a bald head and a black and gray beard.
He was last seen wearing a black and gray puffy coat, blue jeans and black shoes.
Police said Samuel is in good physical health, but his wife is worried about him due to his dementia, a condition that can cause issues with memory, language, problem-solving and other thinking abilities.
As the search continues, anyone who has seen Samuel or knows of his whereabouts should call the Detroit Police Department's Fifth Precinct at 313-596-5540, or Crime Stoppers 1-800-Speak Up (1-800-773-2587).
