MSP officials on Thursday announced the County of Macomb Enforcement Team (COMET) executed eight search warrants across Metro Detroit on Wednesday, Feb. 5.

Detectives arrested four people and seized seven handguns and a rifle, as well as cocaine, prescription pills, methamphetamine, psilocybin mushrooms and "bulk marijuana."

They also seized more than $1.2 million in cash with intent to forfeit, MSP officials said.

It was not immediately clear whether the raids were connected to each other.

Officials have not released the names, ages or hometowns of anyone who was arrested Wednesday.
