PONTIAC, Mich. (WWJ) – A fire has severely damaged a Pontiac restaurant.

Coney Cafe, located off of West Walton Boulevard, near North Telegraph, was reportedly destroyed after it caught fire overnight, according to a report from WDIV in Detroit.

Fire crews were apparently still on the scene Sunday morning working to put out hot spots at the restaurant.

Most of the building appeared to be destroyed after it “essentially collapsed,” according to WDIV.

Officials have not released any details about what caused the fire. No injuries have been reported.
