
LIVONIA (WWJ) - Two suspects in connection with stealing 20 packages from multiple Livonia apartment complexes were arrested and charged, the Livonia Police Department reported.

Officers were first made aware of the potential package theft after a tip was called in to 9-1-1 on Jan. 5 about two individuals in a white Ford Fusion swiping packages from a local apartment building.
Police arrived on scene and were able to locate the suspicious vehicle. They identified the driver as Patrick Thomas Jr, 29, and the passenger as Andrea Harrison, 36, both of Detroit. The officers were able to determine 20 packages inside the Ford Fusion had been snatched from multiple apartment complexes around Livonia.
Authorities released video of the roadside investigation on their Facebook.
Thomas and Harrison were both arrested and charged with illegally entering the apartment buildings and theft of property.
In a good end to the case, authorities were able to return every package to their rightful owner the very next day.
Thomas and Harrison are due to appear in the 16th District Court, which will be scheduled at a later date.
