WALLED LAKE, Mich. (WWJ) -- A metro Detroit marijuana dispensary is extending its "Pot For Shots" promotion as southeast Michigan continues to fight back against COVID-19.
The Greenhouse of Walled Lake rolled out the program in January, offering a free, pre-rolled joint for anyone who has received their vaccine. Initially planned to end on Feb. 28, the company has extended the promo for a second time.
Anyone 21 years or older that can show written proof of vaccination at the Greenhouse will be able to get the pre-rolled joint through the end of May.

"Our goal continues to be to heighten awareness on the importance of receiving the COVID-19 vaccination as we do battle against this horrible illness," Greenhouse owner Jerry Millen said in a statement. "Pot For Shots is our way of showing the commitment we have in assisting our community in getting back to normalcy. We support the safe and responsible use of Cannabis and hope we are near the end of this pandemic."
The Greenhouse became Oakland County's first fully licensed medical and recreational marijuana dispensary when it opened back in January 2020.
The Greenhouse is located at 103 East Walled Lake Drive in Walled Lake and is open 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday-Saturday and 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sundays.
