FRASER (WWJ) -- The National Weather Service says it has confirmed that tornado hit Macomb County's Fraser, as strong storms rolled through the area on Wednesday.
It's this year's 29th tornado in the state.
National Weather Service Meteorologist Kevin Kacan said wind damage is the biggest indicator that there was a tornado touchdown.
"The damage being the downed tree limbs near Kelly Road between 14 and 15 Mile, might be related to tornadic wind damage," Kecan told WWJ's Newsradio 950's Luke Sloan, a couple of hours after the storms blew through.
Kacan said there was a team on the ground surveying the damage. More information is expected to be released regarding the tornadoes strength and other details sometime Thursday.

Flooding is a major issue too, in some spots.
Pamplin got stuck in it himself at 18 Mile Rd. and Garfield, where he witnessed a mother carrying her child through the flood waters.
"This subdivision I'm in, the Canal Estates, underwater," Pamplin reported, at 3:30 p.m. "There are tow trucks stuck in here that can't get out."
Pamplin spoke with Vic, who lives nearby and was on his way to a doctor's appointment when the storm hit.
"I've been here nine years and this is about the worst I've seen it in this area," he said.
The worst of the storm damage seems to be in Fraser, Clinton Township and Macomb Twp.
Kacan said the NWS was keeping an eye on a second round of severe storms, expected later Wednesday, that would also capable of producing tornadoes.

AccuWeather Meteorologist Heather Zehr said heavy rainfall remained possible into Thursday afternoon.
After the rain moves out later Thursday, it'll be windy and not as warm and not as humid the the rest of the day. Clouds may break for a little sunshine, however, as temps top out at around 78.
Friday is looking partly sunny and quite warm with a high of 86, "a pretty nice day," Zehr said.
Saturday and Sunday are looking dry, with sun and some clouds — but it's going to be getting hotter. AccuWeather is calling for a high of 92 degrees on Saturday and 96 on Sunday.
