Exactly one year ago today, metro Detroit was underneath a blanket of snow. Let that sink in while we talk about today's forecast: Another record high temperature today is expected in Metro Detroit, continuing a trend that started this weekend.

More than 20 weather records across the state have been broken since Saturday. The National Weather Service says Detroit hit a record high of 77 yesterday, breaking the old record of 75 set in 1999. Record high temperatures were also reported in Grand Rapids, Lansing, Traverse City, Gaylord and Sault Ste Marie.

Another weather record was set Monday in Detroit when the National Weather Service says the high temperature hit 77. That breaks the old record of 75 set 21 years ago. Ann Arbor and Willow Run Airport reported a temperature of 81 degrees.

So, how are metro Detroiters handling the weather bonus? They're getting outside ... and they're golfing. Charlie Langton stopped by a course in Sylvan Lake where golfers were so plentiful there were no tee times left today -- until 11 p.m.

Areas Up North are included in the sparkling blue sky forecast with a record high of 75 degrees was set at Sault Ste Marie, breaking the old record of 67 degrees set in 1999. A record high of 74 degrees was set in Gaylord, and it was 78 degrees in Traverse City.

For Grand Rapids, Lansing, and Kalamazoo, Monday set the record for the latest in the year that 77 degrees has occurred. Grand Rapids and Kalamazoo just set a new record for the most 70-degree days in November with five days, and Lansing just tied their record of 5 days.

And here's the Accuweather forecast for the rest of the week. It'll be increasingly windy today, with a high of 73 degrees, smashing the former record of 68 degrees. Tomorrow will be a high of 55 degrees, before we dip back to 52 degrees for Thursday.

The high in LA on Sunday was 60, while Detroit's high was 73.
