REDFORD (WWJ) -- Redford Police are continuing to search for suspects involved in a hit and run that left one person injured last week.
Officials say the incident occurred on Friday, June 11 around 4:40 a.m. at the intersection of Telegraph and West Chicago.
A pedestrian was apparently crossing southbound Telegraph when they were struck by a white sedan.
The sedan then stopped momentarily before continuing to drive south on Telegraph, leaving the pedestrian lying in the roadway.
After police arrived at the scene, the victim was transported to a local hospital for their injuries. The sedan will likely have damage to the passenger side headlight.
Anyone who witnessed the crash or recognizes the vehicle is being asked to call the Redford Township Police Department at 313-387-2561.
