WYANDOTTE (WWJ) A child fell more than 20 feet from a rock-climbing wall at the Wyandotte Street Art Fair, according to multiple reports.

A witness posted on Facebook about the terrifying moment that happened Friday night in the kid’s zone of the fair.

“When the boy who was all the way at the top of the rock wall his bungee cord SNAPS. He fell right to the ground, nothing under him. His arm was broken, femur broken and body in total shock,” Allison Trombley posted on Facebook. “That would of been either Grayson or Jaylen. I am so upset and my heart is still racing. I am traumatized, let alone my 3 and 4 year old babies who watched this happen right in front of their eyes.”

WXYZ and FOX 2 both report that police confirm the child suffered multiple broken bones and was unconscious when first responders arrived.

While witnesses have said his bungee cord snapped, police have not confirmed it.

His condition is not known. His age also has not been disclosed, only that he is under the age of 16.
